Are you a BSc, MSc, or PhD student ready to make rocketry your reality? Do you want to begin your journey into the space industry?
At DanSTAR (Danish Student Association for Rocketry), we’re always on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our team! Whether your interests lie in cutting-edge engineering or organisational exellence, we have a place for you.
DanSTAR is a purely student-run organization pushing the boundaries of what a student association can achieve. With two successful rocket missions, a world record of 6.5 km apogee, and our latest project, Fornax, set to launch at the European Rocketry Challenge in October 2025, we are seeking exceptional talent to help us succeed.
We are a diverse team of students from DTU, CBS, ITU, and beyond, united by a shared passion for rocketry. Our work spans everything from designing advanced propulsion systems to raising funds and managing stakeholder relations.
Our mission is to build scalable bi-liquid rockets capable of full flight and recovery. With high ambitions come high expectations, and we are committed to fostering the best talent to achieve our goals.
DanSTAR alumni have gone on to work at ESA, SpaceX, Orbex, and even founded their own space propulsion startups.

I’m already a graduate. Can I still join?
Yes, we allow individuals to join or remain with DanSTAR for up to a year after graduation. However, job searches after graduation can impact the predictability of future planning, so we assess this on a case-by-case basis.
Is it required to work on-site?
Yes, we currently require members to be on-site and do not accept fully remote members.
Are all roles at DanSTAR voluntary?
Yes, DanSTAR is a non-profit student association entirely run by students. As such, no monetary compensation is provided—only valuable hands-on experience.
