YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As Category Purchaser you will have the full ownership for sourcing and renegotiations projects of indirect procurements across all markets. In this role you will be accountable for the process end-to-end, driving spend analysis and cost benchmark studies, managing supplier relationships and evaluation, and building negotiation strategies and execution to achieve optimal solutions and minimise total cost of ownership. This will include: 

• Continuously driving cost optimisation and improvement programs in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation
• Managing spend analysis and benchmarking to find opportunities to optimise categories and cost
• Driving sourcing projects across all indirect categories, continuously scouting the market for new potential suppliers and opportunities for cost reductions
• Building negotiation strategies and managing negotiations with new and existing suppliers, including the contracting process and administration of renewals
• Maintaining and developing supplier relationship management, continuously evaluating performance and working strategically with key suppliers to ensure successful long-term partnership
• Working proactively to identify supply risks and applying relevant strategies to mitigate them
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organisation as a subject matter expert in the procurement field, assisting with sustainability and supplier code of conduct activities and work continuously to drive the organisation towards best in class cost and performance

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We are looking for an energetic and analytical team player, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. In addition to being professionally fluent in English, we believe the right person has: 

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or similar
• +2 years experience from purchasing or procurement functions
• Experience from managing procurement and purchasing projects end-to-end with short deadlines
• Experience from sourcing for new products and services
• Experience from managing multiple project and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience from successful negotiations and building strong long-term relationships
• Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
• Professional fluency in English, additional languages is a merit
• Knowledge of IT tools, e.g. Steep or Tableau, is a merit
