Our software development team is dedicated to building and maintaining the core services and structures at the platform level, empowering specialized teams to develop impactful business modules and features. We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our platform team and contribute to our long-term strategic development initiatives. 🚀

As a Backend Developer at Relesys, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services that power our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and robust solutions using the .NET tech stack. Your focus will be on long-term strategic development, ensuring that our platform remains secure, efficient, and adaptable to emerging technologies and business needs. 🤩 
 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET / C#.
  • Collaborate with the platform team to architect scalable and secure solutions.
  • Work with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of platform architecture and technology adoption.


Who are you?: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development using the .NET stack.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET and C# programming language.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases, preferably (Azure) SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of software design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Furthermore, it would be great, but not required, if you have:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with message brokers and event-driven architecture, such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grids, or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of security best practices, including authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or Application Insights.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment and working on large-scale distributed systems.
