As a Data & Algorithm Developer at Monthio, you’ll play a key role in developing and refining our data-driven models and algorithms to ensure precise and effective creditworthiness assessments. Your insights will help us deliver highly reliable software that empowers our clients to make data-backed financial decisions with confidence. This is a unique opportunity to shape the way data is leveraged in financial technology within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Design, implement, and optimize data algorithms and models that power our creditworthiness assessment applications, applying statistical methods and financial modeling techniques.
Work closely with our team of data analysts to translate data-driven insights into practical algorithmic solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate new data sources.
Develop scalable and efficient data processing solutions, ensuring quality and accuracy in all data transformations.
Work with machine learning models to improve predictive accuracy and overall product performance.
Engage in continuous improvement of data structures, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Document and maintain clean, reusable code, following best practices in development.
2+ years of experience in data engineering, algorithm development, or a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and languages such as Python or C# for data processing and algorithm development.
Experience in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, including services like Azure Machine Learning and Databricks) and big data processing frameworks is a plus.
Background or knowledge in finance or fintech is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Danish isn't a requirement, we are an English speaking office (although some of us like to practice our newly-acquired Danish skills at the coffee machine :).
