We're Redeploy. A tech consultancy built for people who want to grow, make a difference and have a good time doing it.
We design, build, scale and maintain modern solutions across Cloud, Data and AI, helping ambitious companies across the Nordics transform how they work with technology. As a trusted partner to Microsoft, AWS and Databricks, we deliver platforms that are built for impact and built to last.
What sets us apart is the way we work. Curiosity runs deep here, as does the drive to keep learning and sharing. You'll join a team that values ownership, collaboration and high technical standards, and where people genuinely care about doing things well. For our clients. And for each other.
What you'll do
As a Data Engineer at Redeploy, you'll work as a consultant on engagements where data platforms are the core of the delivery, not an afterthought. Our clients are mid-size to enterprise companies brought in for serious transformation and complex data challenges where the bar is high and the work actually matters.
The work varies by engagement, but the standard doesn't. You might be building a lakehouse platform on Azure and Databricks from scratch, modernizing a legacy data warehouse into something scalable and cost-conscious, or designing ingestion and transformation pipelines where quality, observability and performance are non-negotiable. Whatever the context, we build things the right way. Knowing when not to over-engineer is its own craft, and we take it seriously.
You'll work alongside Architects, Cloud Engineers, Analytics Engineers and AI Engineers, sometimes leading the technical direction, sometimes as the sole data expert embedded with a client. Either way, the expectation is the same: you build, you improve, you communicate, and you ship.
What you'll grow into
Your growth path depends on what you want to be known for.
Some engineers go deep on the craft, specializing in areas like Databricks and Spark engineering, platform foundations across IaC and data platform operations, or analytics engineering practices around semantic layers and governed self-service. Others grow toward Tech Lead or Solution Architect roles, taking ownership of the end-to-end picture, steering delivery and building trusted relationships with clients over time.
We back this with certifications and structured learning, but the real acceleration comes from the mix of projects, strong peer feedback loops, working alongside people who genuinely enjoy building things well and sharing what they know.
Who we're looking for
You're an experienced Data Engineer who takes ownership, holds yourself to a high standard and brings real opinions to the table. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and you're energised by the consulting pace: new challenges, new contexts and the pressure to deliver.
We don't just follow where the industry goes; we help define it. The pace of change in data and AI right now is unlike anything we've seen, and we want people who lean into that, who get restless when things stop moving and who find energy in being the ones who validate what actually works in production before everyone else catches up.
We care more about how you think, how you build and how you collaborate than whether you have a consulting background. Humble enough to play for the team, sharp enough to push back when it matters.
The people here genuinely love what they do. You'll be surrounded by some of the strongest engineers in the field, in an environment that moves fast, laughs often and actually looks out for each other.
What you bring
A background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent university degree
Hands-on experience in a data engineering or similar role, such as Analytics Engineer, ETL or DW Developer
Strong programming skills in Python, with solid experience in SQL and Spark, and a sound understanding of software engineering principles
Experience with cloud-based data solutions, Azure preferred but AWS is also highly relevant
Solid understanding of data structures, modeling and processing
Familiarity with data architectures like Lakehouse and Medallion
Experience with Databricks is a strong plus
