Arctic Security is a young, exciting, and disruptive cyber security company. We help companies and organizations reduce their cyber security risk by alerting them to cyber issues they did not know about. We are based in Oulu Finland with offices in Helsinki and Singapore and customers in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. Recently we launched a new Security as a Service offering called EWS (Early Warning Service) and are looking for a Sales & Business Development Representative to help us accelerate growth throughout EMEA.

We are looking for a highly personable, well-spoken Sales & Business Development Representative to play a key role in expanding our customer base throughout EMEA. The Sales & Business Development Representative's responsibilities include generating potential leads through managing inbound prospects, the outbound soliciting of potential customers, and the successful closing of new business opportunities.
The successful applicant should be highly driven and have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. They should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful applicant will be required to deliver against the pipeline and lead creation goals through being able to identify a customer's business problems as they relate to Arctic Security’s unique value proposition and qualify or disqualify new business opportunities through understanding a customers' decision-making criteria and their propensity to buy.
The successful applicant will play a vital role in the revenue growth of the business throughout EMEA, reporting to the CEO and working closely with our EMEA sales representatives. The office location can be in either Helsinki or Oulu.
Lead Generation
Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
Identify and contact potential customers for new business opportunities.
Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements.
Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase Arctic Security products or services.
Sales Execution
Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with prospects to expedite sales processes in a timely manner.
Providing forecasting within a 95% accuracy rate to create visibility with all Arctic Security business stakeholders on revenue trends and actions to drive revenues to plan.
Participate in business review and revenue forecasting activities.
Market Awareness
Understanding complex technical sales cycles and challenges, including the strategies of competitors, and using this knowledge to hone sales strategies with prospects.
Product and Sector Knowledge
Working with the Arctic Security solutions and R&D team to use customer feedback and insights in the formation of product enhancements, as well as new products or solutions.
Experience from selling IT, cyber security or network solutions to the Higher Education sector or other organizations with complex network architectures is beneficial.

The ideal candidate would offer:
A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous.
Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Excellent telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
A flexible attitude, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues throughout all levels of the organization.
