We are looking for another software developer to join our team of four. You should be self-driven and capable of making independent decisions while always having access to the team and a team leader for ongoing support. The role will include both individual and team tasks, as well as maintaining existing solutions and developing new ones.

Responsibilities:

• Work on a variety of tasks, including maintaining existing solutions and developing new features with a focus on API scaling and microservice architecture.

• Take ownership of your tasks while collaborating with the team to design scalable solutions.

• Participate in daily scrum meetings and stay updated on the latest technologies.

• Maintain and enhance existing solutions, with an emphasis on improving performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop and implement new microservices to support expanding system needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.

• Full-stack expertise in both frontend and backend development.

• Strong experience in PHP, Laravel, and REST API development, with a focus on scaling APIs.

• Ability to take ownership of tasks, prioritize scalability, and deliver solutions using agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills to ensure smooth coordination and progress within the team.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing workflows and performance.

• Experience in leading or mentoring other developers, whether formally or informally.

• Ability to delegate tasks effectively, fostering motivation and engagement within the team.

• Provide constructive feedback to team members and support their professional development.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, AWS, MySQL, Next.js, and scaling applications using microservices and DevOps practices.

• Proven experience with designing and deploying scalable APIs, microservice-based architectures, and managing infrastructure for high availability and performance.

• Expertise in database scaling, including optimizing MySQL for large-scale applications and ensuring efficient data management.

• Advanced level of English, with intermediate or better proficiency in Danish.
