Your Role

As Klaay's CTO, you'll be the architect of our technical vision, transforming ideas into reality. This isn't just a leadership role—it's a chance to get your hands dirty and build something truly innovative. You’ll be the driving force behind the development of our SOC2/ISO27001 compliance platform, integrating AI at its core and ensuring it’s scalable, secure, and ready to lead the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape the Future: Define and execute the technical roadmap for our compliance platform, with AI integration as a cornerstone.

• Build and Lead: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a top-tier engineering team that shares your passion for innovation.

• Hands-On Development: Lead the design and development efforts using Ruby on Rails, AI technologies, and Google Cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the founders and other key stakeholders to align technology strategies with business objectives.

• Innovate: Push the boundaries of what's possible with AI, driving continuous improvement and ensuring our platform is at the forefront of the industry.

• Ensure Excellence: Oversee best practices in software development, AI integration, and cloud infrastructure to deliver a world-class product.

• Global Coordination: Travel occasionally to our San Diego office to collaborate with the team and participate in industry events.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 7+ years in senior technical leadership, with a strong background in Ruby on Rails and AI technologies.

• Visionary Leadership: Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams while fostering a culture of innovation.

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI, cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud), and compliance frameworks like SOC2 and ISO27001.

• Creative Problem-Solving: A knack for thinking outside the box and driving technological innovation.

• Global Perspective: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across time zones.
