Hey there! 👋 WeDoBooks is looking for a Full Stack Developer who’s passionate about backend development but also enjoys the flexibility to explore some frontend tech as a complementary skill. If you’re excited about jumping into a variety of projects, particularly enhancing our backend and building the future of material distribution, read on!

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Expand and build new backend functionality using TypeScript (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) and Python (scripting, data migration).

• Collaborate with the team to design scalable, cloud-based solutions on GCP.

• Choose a frontend platform as your “second leg” – whether it’s React (Web), Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android), we’ll support your growth.

• Work with like-minded developers to deliver end-to-end solutions that delight our users.

• Bonus: If you’re familiar with Windows Server setups and/or Microsoft Azure (certificates, MSSQL, IIS, etc.), that’s a plus, but not a requirement.

• Primary Backend: TypeScript, Python

• Search Technology: Elastic + Percolators

• Frontend Options: React(Web), Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android) – you decide where you want to grow!

• Cloud Platform: Google Cloud (GCP)

• Additional Tools (Optional): MSSQL, Windows Server/Microsoft Azure, IIS

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in backend development, particularly with TypeScript and Python.

• Flexibility and interest in choosing a frontend platform as a secondary skill area.

• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on clean, maintainable code.

• Experience working with cloud platforms (extra points for GCP).

• Bonus: Some knowledge of Windows Server/Microsoft Azure setups is helpful but not essential.
