Part-Time Hardware and Embedded Software Developer (Student Position) for an AI based 3d scanner

We are seeking a motivated and skilled student to assist in the development of embedded systems for 3D scanning and optical applications. This role will involve working with the ESP32 microcontroller and integrating various sensors such as IMUs, cameras, and lasers. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in hardware development, embedded software, and 3D scanning technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software using the ESP32 platform.

  • Integrate sensors such as IMUs, cameras, and lasers into the ESP32 system for 3D scanning applications.

  • Develop and test simple sensor integration boards.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to refine hardware and software designs.

  • Debug and optimize embedded systems for performance and reliability.

  • Document design processes, code, and testing procedures.


Required Skills:

  • Experience with ESP32 microcontrollers and embedded C/C++ programming.

  • Understanding of hardware design and PCB layout.

  • Familiarity with sensor integration, particularly IMUs, cameras, and lasers.

  • Basic knowledge of 3D scanning techniques and optical systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
