We are looking for support of our Danish Engineering team to join us as an intern for a limited period working on “Drone operations in GNSS Denied Environments”. The project is supported by the European Space Agency ESA with a duration of 6 months.
You will be contributing in Dropla’s R&D efforts of developing technologies to allow operations of autonomous drones and robots in GNSS Denied Environments. You will be closely working with the Technology Lead on GNSS Environments and help implement and testing different technology blocks around Navigation and Detection.
Contributing to the overall engineering process
Support in setting up and performing tests of technology modules or integrated solutions
Review technical documents before release to our ESA partner
Perform analysis and drive corrective actions for any documents with discrepancies
Participate in team meetings
Understand Dropla’s overall technical setup
Develop assessment and problem-solving techniques
Develop communication, presentation and inter-cultural skills
Develop technical skills within robotics, embedded engineering, electronics and robust navigation among other areas.
Build your portfolio within the realms of AI, ML and robotics.
Gain insights, knowledge and network in the growing danish defence sector.
Flexible working hours.
Background in Computer Science or Engineering
Knowledge within Embedded and/or Software Engineering
Proficiency in Python or C++, with a preference for the former
Practical experience with electronics is appreciated
The position is currently unpaid and does not include equity. However, once we secure funding, you will have the opportunity to apply and negotiate for a paid role. For the internship we’ll offer a contract lasting 4 to 6 months, including a trial period.
