About Us:

SHKR Club is a dynamic New York-based startup founded by renowned photographer and creative Karl Shakur, who boasts a following of over 1.1 million on Instagram. We are a hub for creatives by creatives, dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where innovation and artistic expression thrive. Currently, we are in the process of developing our website and need a talented Graphic Designer to help bring our vision to life.

Position:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time freelance basis. This role offers the possibility of a permanent position as we build our core team. You will have the opportunity to work remotely with a diverse group of creatives from around the world, contributing to a small, intimate, but kickass team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to create visually stunning designs that align with SHKR Club's brand identity.

• Design graphics for the website, social media, marketing materials, and other digital platforms.

• Work closely with the founder and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

• Ensure all designs are consistent with the overall aesthetic and vision of SHKR Club.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Passion for creativity and staying updated with the latest design trends.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with startups or creative agencies.

• Familiarity with web design and user experience (UX) principles.

• Knowledge of animation or motion graphics.
