Role Overview:

As a PR Specialist Intern at Landell Games, you will play a vital role in shaping our public image and fostering positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, and the gaming community. You will work closely with our marketing and communications teams to develop and execute PR strategies that generate buzz, build brand awareness, and drive engagement for our games.

Please note this is a 3 month unpaid internship with the possibility to extend. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives to promote our games and company announcements.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other key media contacts to secure coverage and reviews for our games.

• Work with the copywriting team to draft press releases, media pitches, and other written materials to effectively communicate key messages and announcements to the media and the gaming community.

• Monitor media coverage and social media mentions to track our brand reputation and sentiment and provide timely responses when necessary.

• Coordinate press events, interviews, and media briefings to provide journalists and influencers with access to our games and key company spokespeople.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of PR activities with marketing campaigns and overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with media contacts professionally.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

• Basic understanding of PR principles, media relations strategies, and current trends in the gaming industry.

• Passion for gaming and a keen interest in staying updated on industry news, trends, and developments.

• Understanding of B2B sales is a plus.
