About Dryp 

Dryp combines data science, sensors, and hydrology to provide a holistic overview of the water cycle in our cities.  

Our vision is to prevent flooding and reduce the environmental impact of wastewater and storm water systems by enabling real-time decision-making. 

Dryp currently consists of 20 employees located in two offices in Denmark; Copenhagen and Aarhus. We are a group of skilled computer scientists, hydrological engineers, and other professionals who are passionate about using technology to improve urban water management. 

We have existing customers in Denmark and Sweden, with the majority in Denmark. Dryp is ready to scale and expects growth in both volume, customer base, and the number of employees over the coming years. Our products are globally relevant, and we have ambitious plans for international expansion across the rest of the Nordic region and Europe. 

Our product development team currently consists of two backend developers, one frontend developer and the head of technology acting with the PO responsibility. We are now seeking a Senior Frontend Software Developer to strengthen our product focus and drive the release of relevant product features that maximize customer value together with the back-end team.  

 

This role can be filled at our office in either Aarhus or Copenhagen - we prioritise the physical presence at our offices, as we are growing a collaborative culture together. 


Responsibilities 💼

  • You will have a pivotal role in setting the direction for our future frontend tech-stack and designing the value proposition on our platform with users in mind. 

  • You will contribute to the development and continuous enhancement of our web platform, to gain an understanding of our domain and understand our current value proposition. 

  • You will be tasked to define and design the next version of our platform using Figma or similar based on a participatory design process with a few key users and internal employees. 


About you 

  • We are looking for a person, who is self-driven and can plan and prioritise own tasks in a dynamic work environment - you have both responsibility for the development and operationalization of the frontend part of our platform. 

  • You have a solid understanding of both clean and structured code, and know how to deploy frontends using modern practises (CI/CD, Edge Cache, i.e. Vercel/Amplify) 

  • You are driven by creating value for our customers and motivated by seeing metrics, such as feature adoption, user sessions. 

  • You have a project portfolio showing a good understanding of UI and sense of aesthetic understanding. 


Experience 💡

  • At least 7 years professional experience in TypeScript/JavaScript using a major JS framework in production, such as React, Vue or Angular, using industry standard CSS frameworks, such as Tailwind or similar. 

  • You have experience in deploying and ensuring a performant platform for customers

  • Experience with the UI/UX part of developing, utilizing tools such as Figma, Tailwind to create a coherent look at feel with the user experience in focus. 

  • Experience with participatory design/co-creating with technical users - you are responsible for gathering research on user needs, translating them into requirements and implementing these.
