DonkeyRepublic is looking for an Operations and Warehouse Assistant to support the Spare-parts Management department in creating and fulfilling processes that are imperative to the production and servicing of our Donkey Vehicles.


About the Team and Role

As a team, we are committed to delivering the best in-house service to our internal customers in different locations around Europe. It is our job to ensure all our Operations are continuously set up for success by having any Spare-Parts and other bicycle goods at hand to provide a seamless business. We’re the lifeline of our bikes, ensuring they can be bought, assembled, and repaired. 

We are a small, but mighty and diverse team from different parts of Europe and together we work as a unit to deliver the best service possible. 


IMPORTANT

  • The vacancy is to be occupied from the 1st of August 2024 and is full-time.

  • The workplace is at Helgeshoj Alle 22, Hoje Taastrup 2630, Denmark.


What you will be doing

  • You’ll be completing tasks related to picking, packing, shipping, and receiving goods, contributing to a smooth process and happy customers. 

  • You’ll be responsible for accurate stock counting and making sure our inventory is up to date.

  • You’ll be working with our ERP system to reflect our stock movements.

  • You’ll assemble goods and spare-parts diligently and make sure they are ready for shipping.

  • You’ll be troubleshooting of electronic goods, such as bicycle Locks and GPS trackers. 

  • You’ll be collaborating and communicating with different internal departments to complete your responsibilities. 

  • You’ll get the chance to work with us on various tasks that will arise regarding the changes and improvements in infrastructure and processes related to the Warehouse., 


What you’ll need to thrive

  • In order to thrive, we expect you to have some experience with repairing bicycles and understand all major bicycle components, but you don’t have to be a mechanic. 

  • It would be ideal if you have worked in a logistical environment before where you picked, packed, shipped, and received goods.

  • Experience with Sales Orders and Purchase Orders through an ERP system is a big plus, but not a must.

  • You must be able to work independently and you are a proactive team player. 

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel. 

  • Good physical condition because you’ll often handle packages over 10kg. 

  • Fluency in English. Danish is a plus. 


The logistics

  • You’ll be reporting to our Warehouse Supervisor.

  • You should expect to work more during the high season (May-September). Taking long vacations during this period is not advised.

  • You must have a Danish work permit, and have a registered address in Denmark. 

  • Please be aware that we might request a criminal record through the hiring process. 

  • The location of our office/warehouse is at Helgeshoj Alle 22, Hoje Taastrup, 2630. You must be able to be present at this location 5 days a week. 


Here's how we expect you to progress:

After 1 month:

  • You are familiar with the team and have a fair understanding of the projects and challenges we are tackling.

  • You are familiar with other teams and have a fair understanding of what they do.

  • You are aware of the various tools we use for daily development.

  • You feel comfortable with our daily workflow and work independently within your main area of responsibility. 

After 3 months:

  • You should be able to operate all relevant digital management tools for bicycle components and operations.

  • You’ll be familiar with most of our bicycle components and can understand our needs in terms of servicing and maintenance.

  • You’ll be able to follow all processes and aid the creation of new ones.

  • You should be able to start thinking about areas of improvement.
