AIRY is a fast-moving tech startup located at DTU Science Park Lyngby, where we are developing next-generation, sustainable manufacturing in the automotive industry. Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Electronics design (not PCB design) and implementation of robotic control

  • Hardware development of robotic systems

  • Software development of closed-loop robot control

  • Improvement of print speed and accuracy in both hardware and software

  • Troubleshooting and debugging robotic issues

  • Design and performing of various print tests

  • Upscaling system design for production lines in automotive applications


Professional Requirements

Technical excellence is required for this role. Relevant skills may include:

  • Design of robotics or 3D printer projects, including both hardware and firmware

  • Design of motor control circuitry for robots or 3D printers

  • Development of firmware for controlling robots or 3D printers

  • Construction of gantry systems and robots on a large scale (hardware)

  • Experience with and insight into robot kinematics

  • Comfortable with implementing electronics (neat and clean soldering, wiring of actuators and sensors)

  • A high degree of proficiency in CAD, preferably Fusion 360


In addition, we require you to work physically at DTU Science Park Lyngby, Denmark.
