Who are we?

CleverDeal is a Danish-owned affiliate marketing agency with Danish founders. The team consists of 6 employees and our primary market is the United States. The coming year will be the most exciting in CleverDeal’s lifetime - an exciting journey we want you to join us!

What are you going to do?

As a Financial Controller at CleverDeal, you will be working with financial tasks. You will head up the finance department with sparring and support along the way (by auditors or co-founders). Some of the fundamental tasks that you will be working on include:

• Accounting and payment of invoices

• Monthly closing, bank reconciliation, VAT reporting, and forecasting

• Reporting of the monthly results to investors and employees

  
  

CleverDeal is a small company, so you will quickly have a lot of responsibility, allowing you to increase your skill set. We trust that you will be able to work independently and handle the tasks. However, as the position is essential for the company’s decision-making, you will be in close contact with the co-founders. In addition, you can lead your projects alongside the ‘normal’ tasks. These can be, for example, setting up dashboards, applications for private equity funds, or any other tasks that you find relevant and interesting. Between 8-10 working hours per week are expected.

Your qualities:

• You are growth-oriented and interested in professional development. You must be eager to become skilled in economics. However, the right attitude is just as important — drive, initiative, and enthusiasm are highly valued.

• You are happy and outgoing. We believe that one of the keys to success lies in the well-being and relations between our employees. Therefore, we also hope that you will attend summer parties, dinners, Friday bars, or similar events.

• You are enrolled in a relevant economic education such as HA-Almen, Economics, or similar. There is no semester requirement.

• It is expected that you can speak English.
