Role Overview:

The Application Engineer will be a vital member of our technical team, working closely with customers to implement vessel-specific changes. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from creating blueprints and testing systems, to providing support, documentation, and creating manuals. You will ensure customer requirements are met from order to delivery and manage handovers to other departments within Manta Marine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Work closely with customers to understand and implement vessel-specific changes. Ensure all customer requirements are met and provide continuous support from order to delivery.

• Blueprint Creation: Develop detailed blueprints for marine systems and ensure their accuracy and functionality.

• System Testing: Conduct thorough testing of systems to ensure they meet the specified requirements and perform as expected.

• Support and Documentation: Provide technical support and create comprehensive documentation and manuals for systems.

• Handover Management: Facilitate smooth handovers to other departments, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is provided.

• Development Opportunities: Engage in various development areas such as embedded programming, project management, and procurement.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Education: Degree within electronics or automation.

• CAD Experience: Proficient in creating and interpreting CAD drawings.

• Customer Interaction: Experience in maintaining close customer contacts and providing tailored solutions.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Marine Engineering: Experience in marine engineering and/or technical support.

• Relevant Experience: Previous working experience in a similar role is a plus.
