At Landell Games are passionate about creating immersive and engaging gaming experiences. We are currently in the development phase of our websites for both Apoceus and Landell Games, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Game QA Tester Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to exciting projects.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Unpaid but valuable)
Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and develop a comprehensive testing plan and strategy. This includes identifying test objectives, defining test cases, and determining testing methodologies.
Test Execution: Execute various types of tests, including functional testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, and regression testing. Use a combination of manual testing and automated testing tools to identify defects, bugs, and gameplay issues.
Bug Reporting and Tracking: Document and report any issues or defects discovered during testing. Create clear and detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce the issue, and track the status of reported bugs through resolution.
Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Update documentation as needed to reflect changes in the game or testing requirements.
Quality Assurance Processes: Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Provide suggestions and feedback to enhance the overall quality assurance workflow, including test automation, test coverage, and defect prevention strategies.
Performance Optimization: Collaborate with the development team to identify performance bottlenecks and provide suggestions for optimization.
Testing: Conduct testing on various platforms and devices to ensure the game functions as intended and meets platform-specific requirements.
Game Balancing and Tuning: Collaborate with designers and developers to provide feedback on game mechanics, balancing, and overall gameplay experience.
Game QA Engineers may also be involved in multiplayer testing, localization testing, or specific areas of expertise such as network test.
Should have experience in Gaming.
Must have a Windows PC
