We are seeking an individual with knowledge and experience in 3D computer graphics software development to help us with implementation of 3D model rendering in web. Expertise in game engine programming of the rendering pipeline with graphics APIs such as OpenGL and WebGPU is highly valued. Knowledge of C++ and Rust languages is beneficial.
Our need is to develop the performance of our 3D web service and create tools for 3D model content management. For performance improvement key areas are 3D model optimization for web and making 3D model downloading and rendering in browsers more efficient by utilizing for example WebGPU technology. Our models are created with reality capture so they consist of big number of polygons. We use 3D Tiles format to manage the model data.
The position is a hybrid job in Finland, so a work permit in Finland is required for it.
