The world needs to increase the amount of renewable energy to battle climate change. Glint Solar is an Oslo-based SaaS startup accelerating the growth of solar energy by making it fast and simple to find the best solar project locations. We're still small, but are witnessing a strong demand for our software, which is currently available in 28 countries across Europe and used by many of the largest energy companies in the world.
We are looking for a growth-minded Sales Manager who will help us scale international sales and ensure strong customer engagement. Our ideal candidate will take ownership of the pipeline and is excited by the opportunity that ambiguity creates. As a startup, it is imperative that our team be adaptable as we continuously improve our product and processes.
Reporting directly to the CCO Even Kvelland and the rest of the commercial team in building and converting our sales pipeline.
Own the entire sales cycle: identifying relevant prospects, booking first meetings, performing value-driven demos, negotiating and closing
Driving consistent demand through outbound sales motions including: cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings
Build and manage a growing pipeline of opportunities across diverse regions, including in brand new market
Ensure consistent maintenance of data quality in the CRM system, including dependable deal metrics for accurate sales forecasting
Drill down to understand the customer’s pain points and how we may solve them
Establish credibility through a consultative sales method and build relationships across the solar industry
Demonstrate a proactive mindset to sales and scaling by testing and implementing new approaches, working cross functionally with marketing, customer success and product colleagues to continually learn and improve
Attend conferences and trade shows
3-7 years of relevant B2B sales experience where you have exceeded sales targets
Strong track record of selling internationally with a genuine interest in understanding a diverse target audience
Collaborative spirit both within the commercial team and across to our friends in the product team
Experience with CRM (we use Hubspot) and sales analytics
Excellent communication skills, oral and written English and ideally high proficiency in one or more of the following languages: German, French, Polish, Spanish, Italian
Experience or interest in renewable energy
