We're seeking a passionate and innovative UX/UI Designer Intern to join our team for a six-month journey Unpaid but high value, crafting unforgettable gaming experiences.

The Role:

As a UX/UI Designer Intern at Landell Games, you will be pivotal in enhancing the player experience by conducting research and translate the research findings into intuitive and dynamic user interfaces. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about gaming and eager to make a significant impact in the world of game development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to understand user needs and expectations.

• Conduct user research and usability testing, then implement findings to refine game UI.

• Design and iterate on user interfaces that are visually appealing and enhance player interaction.

• Lead the creation of wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes.

• Help ensure consistency across various game interfaces regarding style and aesthetics.

Requirements:

• A portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills.

• A keen interest in games and game design, with a player-first mindset.

• Basic understanding of design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with the Unity game development engine is a plus but not mandatory.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

• Ability to receive constructive feedback and use it to improve.

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a relevant program in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
