At StepUp Horse, we're dedicated to enhancing racehorse training through innovative wearable technology. Our device continuously measures and monitors vital parameters such as breathing, heart rate, and more, providing trainers and owners with real-time insights into their horses' physical conditions. This not only boosts performance but also significantly reduces the risk of injuries. Join our international team of six, where each member brings a wealth of knowledge across diverse competencies.
We are seeking a full-time Engineering Intern to help us refine and develop algorithms that detect early signs of fatigue in racehorses, thus enabling better training practices and preventing injuries.
Data Transformation: Convert signals from our innovative sensors (breathing, IMU, ECG, GNSS, etc.) into actionable data for riders using both conventional signal processing and machine learning techniques.
Algorithm Optimization: Enhance algorithms and models to efficiently process data on Edge devices.
Data Collection: Manage and oversee the collection of comprehensive training data to support algorithm accuracy and effectiveness.
Research Contribution: Participate in the creation of scientific publications related to our technology and findings.
