🤩 The role: Sales Development Representative (part-time)

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative who is ready to take a step into sales and help us roll out across Denmark. This role is also an opportunity to come in and help form a sales function from the ground up in a fast-growing startup.

You are likely studying at a business school in Copenhagen such as CBS and want a student job that will give you a great boost in your career. 

We're currently scaling up the commercial team across all countries — in the last 1.5 months, 4 new people have joined the sales team. Are you number 5?

The SDR role is an exciting opportunity, you’ll be tasked with booking meetings with top accounts and working closely with senior team members in maintaining and building on an effective outbound strategy.

You’ll be working with an international sales team and a commercial team to support you.

Furthermore, you will attend the meetings you booked with senior commercial team members to ensure you have the best possible learning curve – ultimately, ending up as an Account Executive yourself.

We are building our SDR function now and want you to support the Nordic team by optimizing the commercial engine by driving activity and generating sales pipeline.

 

😎 The job and responsibilities

Daily activities include:

  • Pipeline Generation:
    • Sourcing leads and researching new prospects to target
    • Reaching out to these leads with a multi-channel approach (think LinkedIn, phone, e-mails) - note that phone is a key ingredient here
    • Generating qualified meetings for Account Executives
    • Ensuring a smooth handover process from SDR to AE
  • Using the best-in-class tools for creative prospecting
  • Enabling others and sharing best practices to learn as a team
  • Attending the meetings you are booking, together with the AE, for a steep learning curve

All Gravy is undergoing high growth; hence the job and responsibilities will develop over time, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn and grow. 

Who are you?

You have great energy, a good sense of humour & you love to hit targets. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, like to make sales happen and be a team player.

We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.

We expect you to:

    • Speak and write Danish & English fluently (being able to speak another Nordic language would be an advantage)
    • Being able to work 15-20 hours a week
    • Have some sales experience (+4-6 months) such as telemarketing, field marketing or call center and be keen to kickstart your sales career within tech
    • Nice to have: B2B sales experience within SAAS / software sales
    • Be ambitious - you love hitting targets and are able to self-motivate!
    • Be bold - you’re not afraid to pick up the phone to get to tell people about All Gravy
    • Have excellent communication skills
    • Have a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
    • Be excited about building a big company from a small starting point, and want to grow personally on the way there
    • Be able to work at our office in Central Copenhagen (though we operate with a hybrid model, so you are free to choose to work remotely as well)
