🤩 The role: Finance Analyst

We are looking for a part-time Finance Analyst who is ambitious and ready to take on a high-responsibility role at a venture-funded startup.

This is a unique opportunity where you’ll be in charge of defining the finance department at All Gravy with the rest of the Strategy & Operations team. You’ll be responsible for developing new Standard Operating Procedures for our financials and creating new and more seamless processes.

This role requires you to roll up your sleeves, work hard, and want to take responsibility for creating a whole new department at All Gravy. You will have help & mentorship from both the Director of Strategy & Operations (who will be your direct reporting line), the Strat&Ops team, and the CEO.

All Gravy is evolving rapidly; therefore, many new tasks are coming as we continue with our expansion into the UK, Norway, and Sweden as well as scaling to new secret markets – in addition to continuing our growth across Denmark. This requires a strong thinker and executor – possibly you?

😎 The job and responsibilities

Daily activities include:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
    • Take full ownership of the monthly financial report shared with our investors (based on our monthly P&L, that we receive from our external bookkeeper)
    • Assist in the development and enhancement of the rolling forecasting model to support future growth and strategic decision-making
    • Communicate with our external bookkeepers: External partners are helping us in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the UK – you'll be their point of contact
  • Cash Flow Management & ARR overview
    • Generate accurate cash flow forecasts, considering our internal budgets and forecasting
    • Take full ownership of our ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) overview (and make it even better)
  • Customer communication
    • Manage and oversee the invoicing process for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing procedures
    • Be the go-to person for our customers if they have questions about invoices, our financial wellness product, or anything else
  • And probably more that we didn’t think of already… :)

Who are you?

You have great energy, a good sense of humor, and a disciplined problem-solving mindset. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment and like to initiate new projects but also get them over the line.

We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.

We expect you to:

    • Speak and write Danish & English fluently
    • Have some experience in finance or the willingness to engage in the world of finance
    • Nice to have: Experience in financial analyses within SAAS/software companies.
    • Be ambitious - you love hitting targets and are able to self-motivate!
    • Be meticulous - you’re not afraid to dive deep into financial data to uncover insights
    • Have excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting financial information and collaborating effectively with other teams.
    • Have a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
    • Be excited about building a big company from a small starting point, and want to grow personally on the way there
    • Be able to work at our office in Central Copenhagen (though we operate with a hybrid model, so you are free to choose to work remotely some days as well)

You’ll be in the Strategy & Operations team, reporting directly to the Director of Strategy & Operations and CEO.
