Trace develops B2C IoT products for individuals aged 20 and above, discreetly becoming part of their typical busy everyday life without compromising on design. They help ensure that one doesn’t miss an appointment or transportation, experience financial losses, or get delayed. Trace is a part of KEA Startup Hub, an attractive office and community where young people work on entrepreneurship, located in Nørrebro.

Trace incorporates sustainability into its agenda and conveys aesthetics at the same level as functionality. Therefore, we are not just looking for a technological leader, but a strategic thinker and innovator who can help take Trace to new heights. As CTO & Co-founder, you will help define the direction of our technological development and ensure that our solutions are not only advanced but also responsibly produced. Initially, we can only offer ownership shares, but we are actively seeking funding that will ensure proper compensation.

Your tasks:

• Electronics development; system architecture, component selection, electronics manufacturing and programming, including assembly of parts and testing of electronics.

• Software development; programming, testing, and responsible for identifying bugs.

• Establishing connections between mobile devices and hardware products, conducting communication tests to ensure reliable and accurate data exchange, and possibly implementing security measures to protect data.

Your profile:

• Technical skills in electronics and mechanics.

• Experience in developing apps for mobile phones; capable of coding functionality and testing to ensure smooth operation on all devices.

• Has relevant practical experience and/or education.

Additionally, we expect you to coordinate and plan your own tasks and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a dynamic everyday life. You have a positive mindset and work purposefully within the given framework, maintaining an overview in busy situations.
