OUR SHIFT is a circular textiles company developing a holistic consultancy business that assists companies with their transition to a circular business model. By reusing their excess textiles and materials, OUR SHIFT enables companies to create products of higher value and limits their textile waste. Currently, our biggest client is a well-known car manufacturer and there are more significant leads in progress. So far, we have worked with organizations and companies such as Roskilde Festival, Vans, Danish Architecture Center, Holmris B8, and more.

Industry Opportunity

OUR SHIFT builds on the global problem of increasing textile waste and the current situation in the EU countries. In contrast, new legislation will strictly regulate textile production, handling deadstock, and discarding textiles. From 2025, companies residing in or importing into the EU and producing any textile products will be affected by these regulations. This creates an enormous opportunity for OUR SHIFT to help companies use their excess textiles.

Within the next 2 years, we aim to become an established holistic consultancy serving a portion of large companies in the Nordics and move to the EU market. 

OUR SHIFT is built on a strong background of an upcycling brand making them experts on circularity in the textile industry with strong client relations. The time and place are right, we just need the right team.

Your contribution

We want to find a co-founder who will be integral to the business and strategic development process. We are looking for someone, who can develop the consulting business and grow it. 

Your (ideal) profile:

• You have 5+ years of experience in business, management consulting, supply chain, or waste management, textiles, retail, or similar.

• You have strong sales and marketing experience.

• You are an energetic communicator who takes the lead in commercial development and business development.

• You have versatile business experience, including handling budgets and financing.

• You can take full responsibility towards the board for all aspects of the company's operations.

• You have experience with building a strong team.

• You are structured, impact-oriented, and motivated to make a difference.

• It would be advantageous if you could contribute financially towards buying out the co-founder's equity. Additionally, having a robust network of business angels who can assist in this endeavor would be highly beneficial.

• You can join for full-time, but a part-time involvement can be negotiated.
