As Sales Director you have the responsibility for scaling commercial activities including both business development, lead generation, sales and customer success with direct results in increasing the revenue. You will manage, grow, coach and develop the sales & business development team. You will lead the work to identify commercial opportunities, identify the best customer segments, create and execute on plan to convert into sales.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Develop sales strategy, tactics and plans and set sales targets and forecasts. This involves market analysis, identification of growth opportunities and crating Intelligent Customer Profiles and Customer Segmentation
Define sales processes and systems needed to enable exponential revenue growth and be responsible for planning and executing
Build and manage a strong sales team. Set objectives and performance standards and ensure implementation of best practices and train and coach team into a high performing team
Identify new market opportunities, develop entry strategies for new markets and foster innovation within the sales team to stay ahead of industry trends.Forecast and manage the commercial budget and allocate resources effectively
Manage customer relationships; initiate and develop relationships with key customers, understand their needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to drive repeat sales and referrals
Identify, negotiate and manage distributors and wholesalers globally
Track sales metrics, analyse sales data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness of sales strategies and make data informed decisions on how to optimize processes and improve sales performance and take action when needed
Collaborate closely with other functions to ensure alignment and synergy between sales and the overall business strategy
Stay up to date with industry trends, adopt new technologies and foster a culture of innovation within the team to stay competitive

In order to succeed in the role, we believe that you have:
10+ years of experience in international sales, with B2B and/or B2B2B experience, whereof at least 2+ years in manager role having led and hired team members
Successful track record of identifying and closing sales opportunities, showcasing success in driving revenue growth and managing complex sales operations
Proven experience from managing the whole sales cycle with a strong sales toolkit: you can identify, segment, prospect, qualify, demonstrate, negotiate, and close deals and have experience of developing sales strategies, processes and systems
Strong strategic planning abilities including sales forecasting
Excellent people skills, enjoying building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers, partners and stakeholders
Great leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales team with proven results
Excellent sales, presentation, negotiation and communication skills with ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience
Great time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well in fast paced and changing environments and handle pressure
Fluent speaking and writing skills in English and Swedish
A network in relevant industry such as FMCG, retail, impact is a plus
