System Architect/Senior Developer

We are seeking an experienced System Architect/Senior Developer to champion our projects in Bergen through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our robust software solutions and work closely with our multicultural team of domain knowledge experts, developers, and engineers to deliver game-changing technology for E&P companies.

What you will be doing:

  • Technical lead for our DevSecOps process, ensuring adherence to architecture and security standards.

  • Responsible for design, implementation, QA and operations of our cloud-based solutions.

  • Defend technical decisions, lead daily team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

  • Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality through best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement efficient solutions for our customers. - Optimize application performance and address technical debt.

  • Mitigate technical risks, coaching and mentoring team members.


We think you will fit the role if you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Solid and relevant experience can replace formal education.

  • 5+ years in software architecture and development, with focus on Azure and secure cloud architectures.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and architectural patterns.

  • Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.

  • Experience with code standards, unit testing, CI/CD, and code review.

  • Experience as technical lead in agile development teams.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural teams.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Valid work permit for Norway.
