We're creating Generative AI capable of converting innovative research into patents. We're looking for 1-2 masters or PhD student specializing in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence or computer science as an AI Researcher for an 3-6 month internship.
This involves experimenting with different search techniques and with different LLM's (open and closed source). It is expected that only 1-2 of the areas might be possible during a 3-6 month internship, but you'll be able to choose from:
Establishing benchmarks to measure quality. Due to our unique domain, existing model benchmarks are not relevant.
Conduct structured prompt engineering experiments.
Examine the possible negative impact of optimization techniques on our specific domain.
Examine the potential positive and negative impact of context extension techniques such as linear interpolation.
Compare different search techniques such as graph, vector, and semantic search.
The internship is unpaid, but it is an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and experience in Generative AI for a non-trivial application. We're primarily looking for someone who is physically located in or near Oslo, Norway, but we're willing to consider remote. Will consider both full-time and part-time commitments.
We're an early stage startup creating Generative AI that can convert research into patents. Currently, we have one full-time founder and two part-time members of the team. We're also joined by an active advisor who is an industry leader within the patent space. We're currently working on the second version of our model Savannah 0.2.
