At FÓLK our mission is to accelerate the green transition through design and our vision is to enable and inspire people to live a more sustainable lifestyle.” We work with progressive designers and manufacturers on homeware, furniture and lifestyle products focused on sustainability, responsibility, circularity, and transparency around the production process.   

Internship Position: Design Intern 

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark 

Duration: Flexible, from 6 weeks to 6 months 

Key Responsibilities: 

As a Design Intern with us at FOLK, you will have the chance to:

• Design: Work with our design team to brainstorm, sketch, and develop innovative concepts for our collections.

• Drafting: Translate ideas into detailed drafts and 3D models using software such as SolidWorks, InDesign, and others.

• Research: Conduct in-depth material research to identify sustainable options for our designs, aligning with our commitment to circular design.

• Briefs: Prepare design briefs that outline project goals, specifications, and sustainability requirements.

• Prototyping: Assist in prototype development and testing.

 Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Architecture, Visual Design or a related field.

• Passion for sustainable design and a desire to contribute to a circular economy.

• Proficiency in design software, such as SolidWorks, InDesign, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

• Strong sketching and visualization skills to communicate ideas effectively.

• Ability to prepare detailed design briefs and conduct material research.
