Role

As LifeX’s revenue manager, you will be in charge of pricing ensuring we meet our revenue and occupancy goals. You will also be tasked with managing end-to-end sales funnel and managing client partnerships to ensure targets are met.


Responsibilities

  • End-to-end responsible of revenue and occupancy targets at LifeX

  • Establish and implement pricing, revenue optimization, marketing, and leasing strategies based on market conditions and revenue targets.

  • Manage LifeX’s bookings team, ensuring they are able to successfully meet targets and assist them optimize LifeX’s end of the sales funnel. 

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing manager to run experiments around lead generation and channels used

  • Analyze and run experiments with the data team based on occupancy exposure, expirations, net leases, customer CLV and seasonal market trends.

  • Present pricing and revenue related strategies to real estate partners and internal stakeholders 

  • Responsible for forecasting and budget planning around where the marketing efforts would be for the year

  • Provide new market guidance to real estate team and assist with business case development for new projects from a commercial perspective

  • Monitor competitor pricing and strategies, maintain an understanding of local markets and demand conditions, and conduct ongoing rent and product analyses to ensure appropriate positioning relative to competition.

  • Work with the real estate and product team to define the 4 Ps of housing product

  • Own and develop current corporate housing partners by dealing with inbound requests and expanding with new partnerships.

  • Lead and maintain B2B corporate partnerships


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of revenue management or pricing experience in one or a combination of the following industries: Multi-family, Self-Storage, Hotel, Car Rental, or Airlines 

  • Experience and understanding of the real estate industry is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, or Operations Management, or a related field 

  • A charismatic and organized team leader that is able to elevate employees’ performance in a flat hierarchical structure.

  • Deep understanding of data or data modeling and the ability to objectively identify insights that can be shared with stakeholders.

  • Exceptional analytical skills to identify opportunities within complex data and where these can be operationalized.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.

  • Outstanding presentation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills.
