Shape is the leading app agency in Denmark and joined forces with Waterland Private Equity and Bontouch in 2023 with a joint ambition to create the leading digital product agency worldwide.

Today the group consists of more than 400 employees across offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Zurich, New York, London, Åre, Östersund and Kalmar. The group will continue to grow organically while pursuing international expansion through acquisitions of digital product agencies that have achieved a leading position in their respective markets by delivering best-in-class mobile apps.

As our business grows and we further define specialist roles, we are expanding our Administration team to strengthen our internal structure.

We are therefore looking for an Accountant to ensure timely and accurate financial records are maintained, and existing processes develop in line with our business growth.

We also hope you want to share an interest in our work, and may be eager to follow the newest technology trends with the rest of us.

SOME OF THE THINGS WE LOOK FOR…

• A relevant education in business, finance, or accounting.
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as e-conomic and Xero.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping and the ability to work independently.
• A passion for staying abreast of the latest technology trends.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU…

• Managing monthly closing procedures and reporting to the controllers' team.
• Handling debtor and creditor accounting, invoicing, and payroll.
• Conducting ad hoc reconciliations and producing Trial Balances, Monthly Management Accounts, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Filling monthly VAT and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Collaborating closely with the group Controller team and liaising with auditors at year-end.
• Maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  
  

WORKING HOURS AND SPECIFICATIONS

⏱ Full-time, 37.5 hours a week.

📍 This is a Copenhagen-based, on-site position with flexible remote work possibilities.

💬 English and Danish proficiency is a must.
