We are on a mission to empower restaurant owners around the world with the tools they need to compete in a digital-first era, and we are looking for a rockstar Founding Engineer to join our fast-growing startup.

We make online growth easy for restaurants with our AI-powered all-in-one sales and marketing solution that connects restaurants’ online ordering, reviews, and marketing under one platform. We’re operative in Finland and Estonia, and we are just getting started. To date, we have partnered and integrated with 10+ platforms including Wolt, Foodora, Google, and Meta.

About the opportunity 😎

As a Founding Engineer, you will be more than just a team member. You will be a key player in shaping our culture, strategy, and product. This role offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of our technology stack and lead our tech team on our journey to revolutionize the restaurant industry.

What you will do 🙌

Work with all technical aspects and technological resources of the Munchi from coding to reviewing our tech team's work.
Working together with our product, tech, and operations team.
Help establish Munchi's technical vision and influence all aspects of our tech development.
Experimenting and testing different ideas, features, and products.
Contribute to our broader strategy, bringing a technical perspective to business decisions.

What we are looking for 👀

Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, and React Native.
Experience working with project management tools and frameworks
Experience or strong interest working in a startup or fast phased environment is a must
An entrepreneurial mindset, with a knack for seeing opportunities where others see challenges.
Experience with AI and or Machine Learning is seen as a plus.
Experience in the Food or SaaS industry is a big plus, but what we value most is your ability to learn quickly, adapt, and grow a hacker mindset.

Compensation 🤑

Base salary + equity

Munchi is building the AI-powered operating system for restaurants.
