About VISOID

Visoid is an early-stage, VC-backed AI startup building a faster and better way to do architectural visualizations. Our mission is to provide high-quality visualizations to all architects at a fraction of today's cost.

By applying recent developments in AI-based image generation, we have built a tool that enables anyone to create professional images in a matter of seconds. Since the company was established in May 2023, we have experienced significant user growth. We currently assist hundreds of architects and visualization designers collectively generating thousands of images every day.

About the team

We are a small team consisting of the company’s two founders. Mark has over 10 years of industry experience as an architect and has previously worked at Spacemaker and Rubus. Joachim comes from the energy industry and has over 5 years of experience working with data science and software development at Equinor.

What you will do

As an early hire, you will serve as a cornerstone of the company. As an employee at Visoid, you will have opportunities to develop your professional skills and take on greater responsibility as the company grows. You will also be able to partake in important decisions that significantly impact the company's future.

Your main task will be to develop and maintain the front-end and back-end services of our application. Additionally, you will frequently interact with our users to understand their needs and help set the development direction of the product. As a product-led company, it is critical that our application is intuitive and easy to use, and it is important that you are able to put yourself in the position of the user.

There will be opportunities to work on AI-related tasks, including data engineering, model training, and researching new novel methods depending on your interests.

We are seeking a creative individual with a product-focused mindset who obsesses over our users. You should be self-motivated, a team player, and possess good communication skills. Above all, you should be committed to delivering real value and solving genuine user problems.

While experience with the specific frameworks or tools we use is not required, an eagerness and willingness to learn them is essential.

We are looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer

• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript/TypeScript and web frameworks like React, Vue or similar

• Experience with product development and/or UX design

Preferred qualifications

• Familiar with the following technologies and methods:

• - GraphQL

• - Docker

• - Python and FastAPI

• - CI/CD, testing, Git/version control and code quality

• A sense of aesthetics and design, either in architecture or other visual/creative fields

• Other skills we might not know we need (as a startup, we face a wide array of challenges ;)
