We are excited to announce an opening for a seasoned and dynamic Head of Kitchen/Chef. This role is ideal for someone ready to take charge, exhibit initiative, and lead our culinary team with passion and expertise.
Independently manage and oversee the kitchen team, demonstrating leadership without the need for constant direction
Actively participate in food preparation and cooking, showcasing culinary skills and setting a high standard for the team.
Develop and implement menus for breakfast, lunch, cocktail, and different occasions
Travel to onsite locations as required and serve as an ambassador of the Fygë brand
Bring a creative and quality vision into Fygë’s current and future offerings in terms of food styling/decoration, portion size, packaging, transportation
Maintain food safety, sanitation standards, and outstanding cleanliness of kitchen facilities
Monitor and control food and labor costs
Manage ingredients supply efficiently
Collaborate with sales and event teams to create custom menus for clients
Collaborate with internal teams to create new product ideas for different sectors
Continuously improve and update menu offerings
Keep up with industry trends and innovations
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of cost control and budget management
