Esgaia is a fast-growing Swedish start-up founded in 2020. Our mission is to empower investors to optimize their ESG engagement process to increase the impact of their investments. Ultimately, this contributes to more sustainable companies and real-world impact. By joining a small, yet innovative and agile team, your contribution will play a huge role in the development of our product suite used by banks and fund managers globally.

Our team consists of former asset managers, engineers, developers, and responsible investment professionals. About the role

Your key responsibilities and daily tasks will include 

• Develop and maintain high-quality software products using PHP Laravel Framework and related technologies

• Engage collaboratively with fellow engineers and architects to devise solutions for intricate challenges, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Uphold coding standards, ensuring software quality, and adhering to stringent security guidelines throughout the development process.

• Tackle intricate system integrations

• Vue.js

What we are looking for

You will be working close to the CTO and become a key player in the tech team in our company. We think you are:

• Highly motivated, flexible, self-driven, and ambitious.

• Fast learner with a keen interest in developing your skills.

• A communicative team player who enjoys the fast-paced and shifting entrepreneurial environment.

• Interested in the area of finance and sustainability

• Fluent in Swedish and/or English

We believe you have the following skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Extensive experience using PHP Frameworks like Laravel Framework or Symfony

• Proficiency in AWS

• Strong understanding of software engineering design patterns

• Front End development experience of 3+ years in any modern JS framework (e.g. Vue or React )
