Are you a former entrepreneur or have experience working with startups and want to contribute to the startup ecosystem in Trøndelag (and Norway)? Do you want to work closely with the hottest startups? Then, you need to keep reading.

As a project manager at 6AM, you will be a central piece in the ongoing development of everything we do, and the common thread - and the underlying idea for all our products and activities - is to create the world's best ecosystem for entrepreneurs.

Who are we looking for?

Primarily, we are looking for someone who has been an entrepreneur in a tech startup and now wants to contribute "from the other side of the table," meaning to help, support, and in every way facilitate the best conditions for the next generation of entrepreneurs to solve tomorrow's problems.

We seek an initiative-driven and responsible person who works well both in a team (internally with others at 6AM or with external partners) and independently. With a relatively small team (currently four people), we rely on everyone to make sensible decisions and "get things done" - either as a team or individually - so that we make progress in what we do.

Previous experiences as a leader and project manager in reporting work or with project financing are advantageous but optional for the position.

Your responsibilities

Some of the specific responsibilities can be shaped along the way. We are currently a team of 4 people, so we sometimes wear multiple hats and pitch in where needed.

• Project management with internal and external stakeholders

• Planning and execution of existing and new products for entrepreneurs

• Follow-up and advisory for entrepreneurs

• Participation in company planning and strategy

• Work on financing and partner management

• Collaboration with other actors in the startup ecosystem in Trøndelag, Norway, and internationally

About the employer

6AM is a startup accelerator, early-stage investor, and ecosystem builder with an office in Trondheim (more about this below). 6AM is a SIVA-funded incubator, working with 70+ startups annually in various industries and stages. They all have dedicated entrepreneurial teams, international ambitions, and highly scalable business models. Our role is to help them succeed through the offerings we provide.

Accelerator: We have a 6-month accelerator program for startups in the pre-seed stage, focusing on business development, such as financing and capital raising, sales, marketing, and legal aspects. Since 2020, over 35 startups have participated. The goal is that after completing the program, the startup is ready and equipped to attract investment capital.

Investments: 6AM facilitates Gnist Capital, an investment fund for pre-seed technology startups in and from Trøndelag, where we invest up to 1 MNOK. The fund has been active since early 2023 and made six investments last year, placing Gnist among Norway's top 5 most active early-stage investors in 2023.

Ecosystem building: StartupTRD is a project aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the startup environment in Trondheim, including regular events, co-working spaces, corporate innovation, and more.
