As a technical manager in Hera Solutions, you will have a central role in the development of our first product Hera Road, as well as having great influence on our further scaling. You will be responsible for leading the technical team, developing and implementing software solutions for handling documents within freight transport, and ensuring good information flow between transport methods while you get to work hands-on with the development of the system. You will also play an important role in running lean product development together with the customer, running technical information, leading a technical team and contributing to the company's strategic direction.

Who are we looking for?

You who

• Has an engineering background (bachelor/master) or equivalent relevant technical experience

• Want to work closely with a development team, feel the pulse, build good products and achieve effects quickly

• Experience with system development

• Have worked with full stack development

• Good understanding of database design

• Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and ensure a good interaction between technical development and business development

• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral

Your areas of responsibility

• Build and lead a team of developers, including recruitment, training and project management

• Help the team build frameworks and principles that raise the quality of all code delivered Involvement in technical development day to day, as well as being with the management in strategic decisions

• Work closely with the product manager to plan and prioritize functionality, tasks and resource needs

• Work hands on with the development of the system, together with an interdisciplinary team

• Take a central role in the team and company culture

About the employer

Hera Solutions is developing a robust and secure system for the electronic transmission of shipping information, through our first product Hera Road. We offer a driver application and administration panel to transport companies for a real-time overview of goods during transport, which simplifies communication, handling and documentation of tasks carried out. As a young company, flexibility is important to us, we always start with the end user, are adaptable, and deliver value immediately. We are an innovative company with big ambitions to scale internationally in a few years. The company was founded in the spring of 2023 with origins in the technical environment at NTNU in Trondheim.
