Job Description:

This is an externally focused consulting role, concentrating on the delivery of EUC strategies and technologies to customers. The ideal candidate must have a high level of knowledge of a range of EUC technologies and be able to discuss these with customers to create a strategic roadmap or EUC design to meet their needs. The candidate should have specific experience in several areas, although will be able to gather assistance from the rest of the consulting pool to create an EUC vision and infrastructure design. The consultant should then be in a position to oversee the implementation of this design, interacting with both the customer and internal engineering teams to ensure successful project completion.

Expected Qualification and Critical Experience:

• Proven experience in delivering and supporting enterprise-class services

• Experience designing and delivering Cloud or hybrid-based solutions

• Good presentation and documentation skills

• Able to work closely with sales and engineering teams around the globe

• High-level understanding of all EUC technology areas, with the ability to conceive an end-to-end IT strategy for an organisation

Mandatory Skills and Certification:

• Analyze the technology environment, enterprise specifics

• Analyze and document requirements

• Create a solution prototype

• Participate in technology selection

• Business value-driven design of a computing system, covering business applications and IT infrastructures, as well as the logical and physical interrelationships between its components

• Manage IT integration solutions using relevant platforms, support services, methods and guidelines

• Manage Software architecture that guides application design and associated architecture paradigms such as service-oriented architecture (SOA)

• Ensure usage of shared technical standards, tools, and platforms

• Align with Security directives and fulfilling the customer demands for information security

• Translate business requirements into IT architecture and describe it through a selection of architecture and design artefacts.

• Secure alignment of Architecture design with architectural principles

• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture practices and Target Architecture development by addressing technical aspects of Enterprise Architecture and securing consistency with Business and Information Architecture 

• Consulting experience in a mix of technologies, including Virtualisation, SCCM, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365 or other End User Computing disciplines (not necessarily all)

• In-depth understanding of how these technologies relate and how to architect an overall solution rather than several individual ones

• Customer-focused, confident and articulate with lots of experience in stakeholder meetings and presentations

• Happy to lead/steer customer meetings and presentations and be the authority in the room
