Visma Plandisc is looking for a new leader of our software development department, who is technically proficient and motivated to develop people. Visma Plandisc is a SaaS company that offers a digital, interactive, and circular annual wheel. Our users include municipalities, the state, educational institutions, trade unions, schools, and many more.

As Visma Plandisc's new Head of IT, you will lead our development department consisting of 8 employees, including 6 developers, a UX designer, and a student programmer. The department is responsible for developing our product and the operation of our internal IT (hardware and software). We use best practices in software development, including code reviews, scrum, and continuous delivery. Visma Plandisc is part of the Visma group, providing access to expertise, development opportunities, and learning.

As part of the position, you will be responsible for:

• Developing employees

• Planning the department's work

• Ensuring the delivery of a high quality product to our customers

• Participating in development work half of your time

Visma Plandisc has high ambitions and many development ideas that you will contribute to working on and further developing. Currently, this involves the further development of our MS Teams app and additional visualizations in our main product. However, as there is a short distance from idea to execution, the focus may be entirely different in six months.

Qualifications and competencies

It is important that you are interested in taking responsibility for the team's functioning and ensuring our development process operates optimally. But you should also be interested in getting your hands dirty with software development. We imagine that you have worked as a developer for a minimum of five years and maybe have experience as a leader or is interested in taking a leadership role as your next career step.

Salary: You will receive a fixed monthly salary corresponding to your qualifications and experience.
