The role 🚀

Scrintal is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to join a highly talented and international team composed of 8 talented engineers and designers. We care deeply about everyone working at Scrintal and do our utmost to ensure that everyone feels valued as an individual, feels comfortable to voice their opinions, treat each other with respect and help each other. As our new Software Engineer you’ll have a ton of room for implementing your ideas and seeing results. The best part is that you’ll build a product that brings joy to millions of people’s daily lives, transforming how people make sense of their complex thoughts and big ideas. 

We’re a highly passionate team, all working most days of the week from the company’s office in central Stockholm with the flexibility to work from home whenever that makes sense. 

Our front-end stack is ClojureScript, Re-frame, Reagent, Datascript among others.

Our back-end stack is Clojure, Polylith, Datomic, PostgreSQL and is AWS based.

Requirements and qualifications 🤖

Our main requirement is that you are a skilled programmer with a deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals well - any other relevant skills will ease the learning curve and make you a more relevant candidate. Examples include;

• 4+ years of experience as a Full-stack Developer, preferably with some front-end experience

• Past experience working for a SaaS company or a tech startup

• Professional experience with Clojure & ClojureScript (you'll need to learn this during the first few weeks if you are unfamiliar)

• Experience building complex interactive web applications

• Exceptional communication skills in English 

Extra points of you have the following:

• Experience with a B2C SaaS product

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, Cognito and more

• Experience with technologies such as HTML Canvas, IndexedDB, Web Workers, WebSockets, WYSIWYG editors
