About Northfork

Northfork is a B2B SaaS company that works to accelerate its grocery retail customer’s online revenue by adding recipe shopping technology as a seamless experience independent of partners; retailers or publishers.

We are looking for a senior PHP back-end developer to join our team. You will have a central role in our organisation, and have a crucial part of developing the Northfork tech and product offering. You will be a part of a fast paced expansion and you will get to work, with a distributed tech team with highly skilled developers.

Main responsibility

• Develop, test and maintain our Symfony based back-end

• Collaborate closely with our integration and front-end team

• Identify and address security vulnerabilities and performance issues

• Drive and improve overall architecture

• Provide support and guidance to the rest of the team

Qualifications

• +3 experience in back-end development in PHP and Symfony

• Have a good understanding of relational databases

• Experience in dockerizing and deploying to cloud services

• Strong understanding of OOP

• Fluent in English
