Integrify is an international coding academy & tech company with a social mission at its heart. Since 2016, we have trained over 1000+ international tech talents across Europe and helped them kick-start their future-proof careers. In 2023 we embarked on an exciting journey to train the technical university graduates of Saudi Arabia with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of technology. In 2024 Integrify is piloting a new game development program and we are looking for a person to plan and execute the pilot successfully.
Integrify was founded for the sole purpose of changing what’s next for people who deserve a shot at a better future through education. In practice, every time we successfully select, train, and connect a developer with a job – everyone involved wins.
We’re now looking for a (senior) instructor (in-house or freelance) to help change the lives of Saudi youth and train the next wave of developers at our 16-week program that starts in early February. As an instructor, you’ll help game developers at the beginning of their careers to advance their technical skills. You will provide world-class game development training consisting of live lectures, hands-on assignments, code review, and guided project work where students build their own mobile game. Our education is aimed to simulate a real work-life experience as much as possible.
You will revise Integrify’s Game Development Curriculum together with our Head of Technology and Education
You will prepare for the programs by creating lectures, assignments, and demos based on the curriculum outline
Provide daily training (4 days a week) in a classroom by giving lectures, explaining technical concepts, and giving technical assignments and demo sessions
Supporting our students by providing feedback and mentoring and participating in code review
Helping students in team projects that simulate real work-life situations
Organize demo sessions and workshops
Focus on developing your own hard and soft skills through work and learning sessions
Work together with your supporting instructors and the student operations team to ensure our students are learning in a good phase
You have proven experience in full stack development
You are familiar with the focus area technologies and concepts in our curriculum, mainly: C#, GitHub, Unity Engine, iOS and Android development with Unity, Simple game development-related architectures and design patterns (Singleton pattern, MVC), At least a basic understanding of shaders and rendering pipelines, Quick game design basics (elevator pitch, brainstorming decks, etc.)
You are excited about helping people learn
You are good at explaining technical concepts to more junior developers
You speak fluent English
You are eligible for a visa in Saudi Arabia
Previous experience of leading a team or teaching is a plus
