About Guida:

Guida offers a new way to travel and explore. Chat with a knowledgeable local in our app to get tailored advice for your areas of interest instead of reading generic online information. From restaurants to nightlife, cultural activities to outdoor adventures, Guida connects you with locals while empowering them to monetize their expertise. 

We launched our MVP focusing on Stockholm and Åre during October and have successfully validated the idea with a platform of locals and users, growing daily. We’re currently incorporating valuable feedback from our users and preparing for further growth and expansion. 

We are currently a team of four with broad experience from Swedish hyper-growth startups and top tier management consulting and law firms.

Your Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Development: Own code/feature stories from back-end to front-end, with support from the Head of Product.

• Tech Stack Leadership: Drive the tech agenda and own the technical roadmap.

• Optimization & Scalability: Ensure fast web services, app and third-party performance, and automate deployment and build processes.

• Implement and build data pipelines. Own the Data and AI development

Qualifications:

• Understanding of mobile app development architecture (iOS & Android).

• +2 years in back-end development, including REST APIs and various authentication methods.

• Passionate about Data, AI, and ML: Interest or experience in building data pipelines and ML models with major cloud platforms.

• Collaboration skills with designers and familiarity with UX/CX principles.

Our Current Tech Stack & Tools:

ReactNative, API Node.JS, PHP (our back office uses a Wordpress theme :)), Firebase, Google Cloud, AWS, Github.
