Would you like to help us revolutionize the development and manufacturing of electronic, photonics, and optics industries? Welcome to ATLANT 3D – we invite you for an amazing journey where you will be a part of a team working towards disrupting 60 years of micro and nanofabrication technologies and systems. We offer you a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What we develop is unique, and we are incredibly excited to make a difference.
We are looking for a Mechatronics Electrical Engineer to join our highly skilled and dedicated team of engineers and scientists and become a key participant in developing innovative solutions within nanotechnology. Cross-functional collaboration is the key to our success. We believe in combining theory and simulation with hands-on prototyping and testing.
You would get to be an architect of our products, being responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and commissioning electronics and electrical equipment of high-precision nanofabrication products/systems. You will work on a wide variety of projects, of varying complexity, and be responsible for ensuring that the electrical systems are effective, efficient, safe, and reliable.
Apply engineering and scientific principles throughout the full product development life cycle, from proposal and requirements development through integration and validation testing.
Design, develop, and analyze electrical architecture and systems, including high/low-voltage AC/DC power distribution, lighting systems, communication networks, and electronic devices using computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g. SolidWorks Electrical)
Select and create specifications for electronics and electrical hardware requirements for machine processes, devices, or modules.
Test and troubleshoot various electrical, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical hardware and software interfaces (digital and analog I/Os, motors, lasers, cameras, and other devices/instruments). This involves using a variety of tools and techniques to diagnose issues to identify the root cause and develop solutions to fix them.
Oversee the assembly/installation, integration, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Collaborate with other professionals, including mechanical engineers, fluidics engineers, software engineers, controls engineers, and project managers to ensure that all aspects of a design, or project, are integrated and working together smoothly.
Education: Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, mathematics, physics, and computer science.
Hands-on troubleshooting skills will be required for installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
Able to use tools such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, signal generators/analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and LabView.
Have strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve complex problems.
A broad technical experience (ideally hands-on) with vision systems, cameras, precision motion, automation, instrumentation, sensors, PCB, and system controls.
Have experience with Design Reviews and Stage Gate processes such as NPI
Are capable of working both independently and as part of a fast-moving team and on projects with tight deadlines.
Strong discipline and agile project management skills.
You are self-motivated and a goal-oriented individual, proactive in collecting inputs and addressing issues timely.
You are results-driven, eager to create a sense of urgency for projects, and make optimal use of available resources to produce results.
You can work independently as well as a part of the team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive innovation
A well-developed judgment and strong decision-making skills allow you to collaborate easily with other team members to produce results.
An open-minded mindset and creative as well as critical thinker.
Excellent communication skills, and you feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all functions and cultures – both internally and externally
You know that working as a team and supporting a solid feedback culture will get us all where we want to go – faster!
We offer you the following:
The opportunity to become part of a company poised to revolutionize the development and manufacturing of the electronic, photonics, and optics industry.
An opportunity to have influence and make a significant contribution to a young and fast-growing company.
International team collaboration and a great place to work where we like to be together
