The role

Scrintal is hiring an experienced Full-stack Developer (leaning towards Frontend) to boost its tech team and disrupt knowledge management space 🚀

You’ll be part of a cross functional team of engineers who ❤️ functional programming. It is crucial for us that each team member is involved in decision making and shapes the company’s future.

Our front-end stack is ClojureScript, Re-frame, Reagent, Datascript among others.

Our back-end stack is Clojure, Polylith, Datomic, PostgreSQL and is AWS based.

What makes you a good fit?

Our main requirement is that you are a skilled programmer that understands software engineering fundamentals well - any other relevant skills will ease the learning curve and make you a more relevant candidate. Examples include;

• 4+ years of experience as a Full-stack Developer, preferably with some front-end experience

• Experience working with a single product (e.g. SaaS), including involvement in product development

• Passionate about functional programming

• Professional experience with Clojure & ClojureScript (you'll need to learn this during the first few weeks if you are unfamiliar)

• Experience building complex interactive web applications

• Experience working with backend cloud architectures

• Excited to work at an early stage startup that’s growing fast 🚀

• Fluent in English

On top of these you have an eye for detail, and willingness to improve the product together with us.

What would be great to have?

• Professional experience at a startup

• Experience with a B2C SaaS product

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, Cognito and more

• Experience with technologies such as HTML Canvas, IndexedDB, Web Workers, WebSockets, WYSIWYG editors
