Exciting Opportunity for a DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team based in the US and Norway. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our machine learning software products to new heights. Your contributions will shape the future foundation of our industrial IoT SaaS products, collaborating closely with software developers to build a robust and secure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop the infrastructure, emphasizing containerization, orchestration, security, scalability, availability, and automation.

• Conduct research and evaluate future technologies to enhance the development lifecycle and platform stability.

• Implement improvements and optimizations, focusing on site reliability and maintenance for our environments.

• Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC).

• Test and monitor applications and services to ensure proper operation, SLAs, and performance.

• Develop and implement tooling for logging, alerting, and continuous monitoring.

• Create and manage tools to administer our SaaS software.

• High Volume/High Velocity TimeSeries data

• PostgreSQL and Graph databases

• Microsoft Azure, including serverless paradigms

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

• Experienced DevOps

• Programming skills

• Networking background with a deep understanding of NATs, subnetting, domain setup, and the OSI model

• Expertise in Docker and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, including deploying highly-available virtual environments, automating configuration, and extensive knowledge of cloud storage and computing resources

• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Travis, Jenkins, etc.)

• Linux background
