As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Backend Developer that wants to join our passionate team of three and help us succeed with our mission and ultimately take Alwy to a position in becoming the number one go-to service for personal finance management. Job Description

As a Backend Developer at Alwy, you will be a foundational member of our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core systems of our financial management platform. You will have the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of a world-class service. Your expertise in technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and Docker will be instrumental in our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL as primary tools.

• Manage and develop systems supporting event driven systems.

• Utilize AWS services to build and deploy our platform securely and efficiently.

• Develop and maintain API protocols, including REST and GraphQL.

• Containerize applications with Docker for streamlined deployment.

• Collaborate with the team to design and implement a layered architecture feasible for a small but growing development team.

• Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data.

• Bring ambition and enthusiasm to build the world's next go-to service for financial management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and Docker.

• Knowledge and experience with layered architecture design.

• A strong desire to contribute to the creation of a groundbreaking financial management service.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A collaborative mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
