Now Hiring: Community & Marketing Specialist

Are you a dynamic professional ready to spearhead our digital presence and engage with the XR community? We are seeking a talented Community & Marketing Specialist to join our team on-site here in Trondheim. If you are enthusiastic about digital communication, possess a diverse skill set, and have a passion for the XR domain, we want to hear from you. This role is a blend of digital marketing, community management, and content production. We are seeking an individual who can take charge and effectively manage our digital presence while being structured and empathic.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance all digital communication channels:

    • Social Media posting

      • Familiarity with content creation

    • Management of digital storefronts (Steam, META, Pico, HTC, etc.)

    • Discord and Community management

    • Newsletter management

    • Website maintenance

  • Be the bridge to the outside world:

    • Engage and interact with our followers on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok

    • Establish and nurture relationships with influencers and press

    • Stay updated on relevant publishing platforms, promoters, and emerging XR products, providing weekly summaries

    • Represent the company in external activities such as conferences


Personal Qualities

  • Empathic and community-oriented

  • Genuine interest in the XR domain

  • Effective and clear communicator

  • Analytical mindset with a keen interest in technology

  • Aesthetic sensibility and an eye for design

  • Located or willing to relocate to Trondheim


Bonus-points:

  • Familiarity content creation, including photo, video, and written content

  • Knowledge of SEO and Google AdWords

  • Basic web skills (HTML/CSS) - flexibility appreciated

  • Previous experience in the field of marketing, content creation or community management
